Mannol Diesel Extra 10W-40 is a high-performance semi-synthetic engine oil specifically engineered for modern diesel engines. This 10L container offers a robust solution for maintaining engine health, providing consistent lubrication, and minimizing wear across a wide range of operating temperatures and driving conditions. By utilizing advanced additive technology, this oil helps keep internal engine components clean while ensuring reliable performance for both passenger cars and light commercial vehicles that require 10W-40 viscosity standards.
Advantages
The semi-synthetic base of Mannol Diesel Extra 10W-40 provides superior thermal stability compared to conventional mineral oils, ensuring that the engine remains protected during cold starts and high-load operations. Its specialized formulation effectively neutralizes combustion byproducts, preventing the buildup of sludge and deposits that can impair engine efficiency over time. Furthermore, the oil maintains a stable viscosity profile, which contributes to reduced friction and improved fuel economy, ultimately extending the service life of critical engine parts.
Suitable for
- Diesel engines in passenger cars
- Light commercial vehicles
- Vehicles requiring 10W-40 viscosity
- Engines operating under varied climate conditions
This oil may not be suitable for vehicles that specifically require low-viscosity synthetic oils or those equipped with advanced exhaust after-treatment systems like Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) if the manufacturer mandates specific low-SAPS specifications. Always consult your vehicle owner's manual to ensure compatibility with the 10W-40 grade.
Key specifications
- Viscosity grade: 10W-40
- Base type: Semi-synthetic
- Volume: 10 Liters
- Application: Diesel engines
To use this engine oil, ensure the engine is turned off and cooled down. Drain the old oil from the crankcase by removing the drain plug, replace the oil filter, and then refill the system with the required volume of Mannol Diesel Extra 10W-40. Check the oil level using the dipstick to ensure it falls within the manufacturer's recommended range, and inspect for any leaks around the filter or drain plug after starting the engine.
What to consider before purchase
- Check your vehicle manual for the required viscosity grade
- Verify the oil capacity of your engine
- Confirm if your engine requires specific manufacturer approvals
Usage recommendations: It is recommended to follow the oil change intervals specified by your vehicle manufacturer. Regularly check the oil level between changes to ensure optimal engine protection and performance.
