How to use

Connect the MAONO AME2 to a computer, tablet or smartphone using the supplied USB-A to USB-C cable or compatible USB-C host cable. Attach microphones using XLR or TRS inputs as appropriate and enable phantom power for condenser microphones when required. Adjust the 3-position gain and independent input controls to set recording levels and select onboard effects such as reverb, tone adjustments or autotune to shape the sound. Use the MONITOR SPK or headphone output for real-time monitoring and enable loopback when mixing system audio and microphone input for streaming. Charge the internal battery via a 5 V / 1 A source before mobile use.

Usage recommendations

For best recording results, set input gain so the loudest passages do not clip while keeping the signal above noise floor. Use phantom power only with microphones that require it.
