How to use

Connect the Maono PD100 to a compatible mixer or audio interface via the XLR output. Mount the microphone on the included desk stand or attach it to a microphone arm with a 3/8" or 5/8" thread (arm not included). Position the microphone with the end-address capsule pointed toward the talker, and adjust the 180° angle for optimal placement. Use the weighted metal base with rubber feet to reduce vibrations and ensure stable placement on the desk.

Recommendations

For best results, use the PD100 with a dedicated preamp or sound card (for example the Maonocaster AME2) and place the microphone 10–20 cm from the mouth while speaking or singing. Reduce background noise by keeping reflective surfaces and noisy devices away from the recording area.
