HDMI Extender Marmitek Connect 620 UHD 2.0
The Marmitek Connect 620 UHD 2.0 is an HDMI extender and 4‑port HDMI switch that lets you connect up to four HDMI sources to a TV or projector using a single HDMI input. The unit supports HDMI 2.0 bandwidth and HDCP 2.2 copy protection, enabling playback of 4K Ultra HD content at 60 Hz with HDR, deep color and 4:4:4 chroma. The device includes a built‑in repeater and equalizer to correct signal loss and is compatible with common audio formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
The Marmitek Connect 620 UHD 2.0 supports simultaneous connection of four HDMI devices and automatic or remote controlled switching between sources. It handles the latest Ultra HD features — 4K@60Hz (3840 x 2160/60 Hz), High Dynamic Range (HDR), Deep Color and 4:4:4 chroma — while maintaining contrast and accurate colours. The unit includes a repeater/equalizer to compensate for cable losses and is HDCP 2.2 compliant for protected 4K content. Audio compatibility covers Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and other common formats.
Connect up to four HDMI source devices (for example Blu‑ray player, streaming box, game console and set‑top box) to the HDMI input ports on the Connect 620. Use a single HDMI cable from the device's HDMI output to the HDMI input of your TV or projector. If extending the signal over distance, use a CAT6 cable as required by the extender functionality and ensure proper repeater/equalizer settings are applied. Switch between sources automatically or use the remote control to select the active input. Ensure all devices in the chain (sources, switch/extender, display) support HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 to enable protected 4K playback.
For reliable 4K@60Hz HDR performance and HDCP 2.2 compatibility, use high‑quality HDMI and CAT6 cables, confirm each connected device supports HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2, and keep firmware updated where applicable. If you experience signal issues, try shorter HDMI runs, check cable terminations, or enable the built‑in equalizer/repeater functions to correct losses.
