MASTERCLASS GREY OMBRE cast aluminium cookware range includes saucepans and a casserole: model GB40MCMCRD20GRY (2.5L saucepan), GB40MCMCRD24GRY (4L saucepan), GB40MCMCRD28GRY (5L saucepan) and GB40MCMSCRD28GRY (4L casserole). These professional high-pressure cast aluminium pots are designed for even heating and consistent cooking results. They are suitable for use in the oven and on all hob types including induction and are safe in the oven up to 200°C / 392°F. The lids have integrated grooves that collect excess condensation during cooking and return it to the food, helping to retain moisture and making the cookware suitable for slow cooking.
The cookware features a speckled, particle-reinforced non-stick interior coating that resists scratches. The durable cast aluminium body heats quickly and evenly, while a stainless steel disc on the base makes the pots compatible with all hob types including induction. The range is manufactured without PFOA, PTFE and BPA, contains no petroleum-derived additives, and is made from recyclable materials suitable for food contact. A 25-year warranty applies when usage recommendations are followed.
Before first use wash the cookware thoroughly and always allow it to cool completely before washing. The cookware is dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the non-stick surface. Lightly oil the non-stick surface before cooking to reduce sticking. Ensure the flame does not extend beyond the base of the pot on open flames. Never heat an empty pot and always place hot cookware on heat-resistant surfaces or use suitable trivets. To avoid damaging glass-ceramic or halogen hobs, do not slide the cookware across the surface; place it carefully. During cooking handles may become hot — always use oven gloves or kitchen cloths.
To protect the non-stick surface, do not use metal utensils, do not cut food in the cookware and avoid metal scouring pads for cleaning. Over time a protective patina will form on the interior when thin layers of oil are repeatedly applied and oxidised; this ‘‘seasoning’’ can enhance the non-stick performance. Keep children away from hot cookware during use.
