Sterile Gauze Matopat GAZA STERYLNA 1/4 m² 17N TZMO
Sterile Gauze Matopat GAZA STERYLNA 1/4 m² 17N TZMO
Sterile gauze Matopat GAZA STERYLNA 1/4 m² 17N by matopat is a sterile woven cotton gauze dressing sized at one quarter of a square meter, woven with 17 threads per centimetre. It is designed for clinical and home wound care where a sterile, absorbent cover is required. The product supports wound cleaning, protection during dressing changes and absorption of exudate while maintaining a breathable barrier between the wound and external contaminants.
The sterile woven construction provides consistent porosity and reliable absorption without loose fibres, and the 17 threads per centimetre weave ensures a balance between strength and softness. Supplied sterile, the gauze reduces the risk of contamination when applied in aseptic conditions. Its large 1/4 m² size allows for covering moderate wounds or cutting to shape for specific applications.
Perform hand hygiene and prepare a clean or aseptic field. Open the sterile packaging without contaminating the gauze and, using sterile gloves or instruments if required, place the gauze over the cleaned wound surface. Fold or cut the dressing to the appropriate size if necessary. Secure the gauze with a secondary dressing, adhesive tape or bandage to maintain position and protection. Replace the dressing according to clinical need or manufacturer and facility protocols.
Use only on intact sterile packaging; discard if the package is damaged. For highly exuding wounds, use the gauze as a secondary dressing in combination with an absorbent pad or change more frequently. Follow local clinical guidelines for aseptic technique and wound assessment; consult a healthcare professional for infected or non-healing wounds.
