The Matrox QuadHead2Go Q185 multi-monitor controller appliance drives up to four Full HD displays from a single HDMI video input, supporting up to 4Kp60 input and advanced output configurations. Housed in a compact metal enclosure, the unit is system-independent and intended for scalable video wall installations, digital signage, and multi-display applications where consistent image quality, flexible layout options and network control are required.

Connect a compatible HDMI video source to the unit's HDMI input and connect up to four displays to the HDMI outputs. For a quick setup, use the default 2x2 landscape pre-set or cycle through on-device preset configurations using the front button; no software installation is required for pre-set modes. For custom arrays, install and run Matrox PowerWall software on a connected system, or manage settings remotely over the LAN using the supported control protocols. Adjust output rotation, cropping, scaling and bezel compensation through the appliance interface or PowerWall software, and apply firmware updates via the network when available.

Usage recommendations

Use HDMI-compatible professional graphics cards or media players as video sources and verify display EDID/ID information during setup.
