Card Game MATTEL UNO The Simpsons – Shedding Card Game, Recommended Age 7+
MATTEL UNO The Simpsons is a themed shedding card game that follows classic UNO rules with artwork and motifs taken from the long-running TV show. Designed for children and adults from 7 years and up, the game supports 2–10 players and keeps familiar card-matching mechanics while introducing a licensed Simpsons twist. The deck includes numbered and action cards with unique patterns for colour identification and a special "Woo-hoo! D'OH!" rule that alters play in specific situations.
This edition combines the proven mechanics of UNO with Simpsons-themed graphics to create a recognizable, easy-to-learn family game. Cards include unique patterning to aid colour identification, making the game accessible to players with colour-vision differences. The additional "Woo-hoo! D'OH!" rule brings a new tactical element without changing the core gameplay, and the 2–10 player range makes the set suitable for small groups up to larger gatherings.
Shuffle the deck and deal the standard number of cards to each player according to UNO rules. Players take turns matching the top discard by colour, number, or symbol, and play action cards to change the direction of play or force opponents to draw cards. Apply the themed "Woo-hoo! D'OH!" rule when its trigger conditions occur as described in the included instructions. When a player has one card left they must call "UNO" before the next player takes a turn; failure to do so follows the usual penalty procedure.
Play on a flat surface with enough space for a central discard pile and player hands. Keep the instruction leaflet accessible for reference to the special rule and any house variations. For younger players, review the action cards and practice a few rounds to ensure understanding of matching and penalty mechanics.
