Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Mutant Monster Takedown Playset MATTEL JMK90 with Rhinomite Toy Truck and Slime, Plastic, Multicolour

The Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Mutant Monster Takedown Playset is an action-packed track and vehicle set designed to bring thrilling crashing and smashing scenarios to life. Centered around the Mutant Rhinomite toy truck and a menacing mutant beast, this multicolour plastic playset combines traditional vehicle action with messy, sensory slime play for enhanced interactive fun. Children can engage in exciting battles by launching the vehicle directly into the beast's path while avoiding obstacles.

Advantages

This playset offers a dynamic combination of mechanical action and sensory play through its inclusion of reusable green slime and a wind-up crank mechanism that powers the beast's arms and jaws. The set provides engaging cause-and-effect gameplay as children aim to defeat the monster and trigger its collapse. Built from durable plastic, it withstands repeated active play sessions while offering versatile play options with or without the slime component.

Suitable for

• Children aged 4 to 5 years old who enjoy vehicle and monster truck toys
• Interactive playtime involving crashing, launching, and storytelling scenarios
• Developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through targeted vehicle launching

When it may not be suitable

This product may not be suitable for children under the recommended age range due to small parts and complex launching mechanisms. It might also not be ideal for environments where sticky or sensory materials like slime are restricted by parents or caregivers.

Key specifications

• Includes one 1:64 scale Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Mutant Rhinomite toy truck
• Includes one 4-ounce container of reusable green slime
• Features a wind-up crank mechanism to activate monster movement
• Constructed from durable multicolour plastic
• Recommended for children aged 4 to 5 years

How to use

To begin playing, wind up the lever on the mutant beast to set its arms and jaws into motion. If desired, load the included green slime into the beast so it oozes from its mouth during action. Place the Mutant Rhinomite truck into the launcher and execute a slam-launch down the track, aiming directly into the moving jaws while avoiding the swinging arms. Successfully hitting the target knocks out the monster, causing it to collapse onto the pit. Pull the monster back up to reset the playset for another round.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure the child falls within the recommended age bracket of 4 to 5 years for optimal usability
• Note that the set involves reusable slime, which requires proper storage in its container to prevent drying out
• Check available play space to accommodate the size of the track and action features

Supervise play sessions, especially when utilizing the slime component, and store the slime in its designated container immediately after use to maintain its quality and prevent messes.
