Bike Combination Lock Mega Creative model MUFTC01 — 11 mm x 60 cm cable

The Mega Creative bike combination lock MUFTC01 is a flexible steel cable lock with an 11 mm diameter and 60 cm length, designed for keyless numeric-code locking. It is intended to secure bicycles, scooters and similar outdoor equipment during short to medium-term stops. The lock offers a compact, portable solution for everyday urban use where quick and simple locking is required.

Advantages

This combination lock provides keyless operation through a numeric code, eliminating the need to carry keys. The 11 mm steel cable balances flexibility and resistance for routine security needs, and the 60 cm length allows fastening to a variety of fixed objects such as bike racks, poles and railings. The compact and lightweight design makes it easy to carry on the bike frame or in a bag, while the weather-resistant components tolerate common outdoor conditions encountered during daily use.

Suitable for

• Securing bicycles during short to medium-length stops in urban environments
• Locking children’s ride-on toys, scooters and lightweight outdoor equipment
• Quick keyless parking where convenience and portability are priorities

When it may not be suitable

The 11 mm cable provides basic to moderate theft deterrence but is not intended for high-risk locations or long-term unattended storage. For areas with a high incidence of theft or for leaving a bicycle overnight in an unsecured public space, a heavier-duty lock such as a hardened D-lock or chain lock with a certified rating is recommended.

Key specifications

• Cable material: steel core with protective outer coating
• Cable diameter: 11 mm
• Length: 60 cm
• Lock type: numeric combination (keyless)
• Intended use: short to medium-term bicycle and lightweight equipment security

How to use

Set and use the numeric code according to the manufacturer’s instructions: align the digits to the preset or chosen code, thread the cable through the bicycle frame and a secure fixed object, then insert the cable end into the locking mechanism until it clicks. To open, enter the correct combination and release the cable. Regularly check the mechanism and cable coating for wear and clear debris to ensure reliable operation.

What to consider before purchase

• Required security level based on parking duration and location
• Compatibility of 60 cm cable length with typical locking points you use
• Preference for keyless combination operation versus keyed locks
• Need for additional protection (e.g., pairing with a secondary lock) in higher-risk areas

Usage recommendations

For everyday urban use, thread the cable through the bike frame and both wheels when possible, and secure it to a solid, immovable object. Record the chosen combination in a safe place and periodically inspect the cable and locking mechanism for damage or corrosion. For higher-risk situations or long-term parking, consider combining this cable lock with a more robust locking system.
