Towel meguiar’s Supreme Microfibre Finishing Towel X1906EU — microfibre finishing cloth for paintwork

The Meguiar’s Supreme Microfibre Finishing Towel is a professional-grade microfibre cloth engineered specifically for the gentle removal of residues and for final polishing of automotive paintwork. This high-quality towel is designed to provide streak-free wiping of polish, wax, and quick detailer residues, while also serving as an effective tool for drying delicate surfaces safely. It delivers a consistently clean, lint-free finish across exterior vehicle surfaces without scratching or hazing.

Advantages

The microfibre construction ensures exceptional softness and high absorbency, making it extremely gentle on sensitive automotive clear coats. Its specialized thick nap safely traps microscopic particles away from the surface during final wipe-down stages. The towel helps to prevent swirl marks and paint marring that can occur with lower-quality cloths. Additionally, it maintains its texture and performance through multiple wash cycles, providing reliable durability for regular detailing routines.

Suitable for

• Removing dried polish, wax, and sealant residues
• Buffing off quick detailers and spray waxes
• Drying delicate automotive paint and glass surfaces
• Achieving a lint-free, streak-free final shine on exterior trim

When it may not be suitable

This microfibre towel is not intended for heavy-duty cleaning tasks such as wiping up heavy engine grease, scrubbing heavily soiled wheels, or applying acidic wheel cleaners. Using it on abrasive or heavily contaminated lower body panels without prior washing may trap debris in the fibres and risk scratching the paint.

Key specifications

• Material: Premium microfibre
• Application: Paintwork finishing, residue removal, and polishing
• Surface compatibility: Paint, glass, and exterior trim
• Finish: Streak-free and lint-free

How to use

Fold the microfibre towel into quarters to create multiple clean surfaces for wiping. Place the folded towel flat against the paintwork and wipe gently with light to moderate pressure following the contours of the vehicle. Rotate the towel frequently to a fresh, clean side as residues accumulate during the buffing process. Inspect the surface periodically to ensure all product residues are completely removed.

What to consider before purchase

• Assess whether the towel matches your specific detailing needs for wax and polish removal
• Ensure proper microfibre washing guidelines are followed to maintain fabric softness
• Verify the intended application surfaces match paintwork, glass, and trim

Regularly wash the microfibre towel using a dedicated microfibre detergent without fabric softeners or bleach, and tumble dry on low heat or air dry to preserve its absorbing properties and prevent lint transfer.
