The MicroConnect KON526 outdoor LAN CAT6 STP connector is a compact RJ-45 wire connector designed for 8‑wire connection, extension, repair or rerouting of Ethernet network cables without the need for bulky junction boxes. The connector features a black PA66 plastic outer housing with integrated strain relief on both sides and IP68 protection, making it suitable for outdoor and industrial applications while supporting PoE+ according to IEEE 802.3at.

How to use

Prepare the Ethernet cable by stripping the outer sheath to expose the 8 conductors and, if present, the shield. Insert the conductors into the connector following the required wiring standard and ensure the shield is connected to the integrated shield contact. Close the housing and secure both sides with the built-in strain relief. No special tools are required for assembly; verify correct pinout and continuity after installation.

Usage recommendations
