MicroConnect MC-USB3.0-ST610 is an external interface adapter that provides USB 3.0 connectivity to a PCI Express platform. The single-chip USB 3.0 host controller enables SuperSpeed (5 Gbps), High-Speed (480 Mbps), Full-Speed (12 Mbps) and Low-Speed (1.5 Mbps) connections, supporting mass storage devices, printers, scanners, hubs, cameras and other USB peripherals. Compatible operating systems include Linux and Windows 7/8/8.1/10 (32-bit and 64-bit).

Advantages

The adapter supports four USB 3.0 Type-A downstream ports with full backward compatibility to USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. It implements UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) mode for improved storage performance, supplies up to 5 V/900 mA per USB 3.0 port, and offers an optional 15-pin SATA power connector for additional power-hungry devices.
