Memory Module Micron DDR5 32GB 5600MHz
Micron CT2K16G56C46U5 is a 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-5600 UDIMM kit designed for desktop systems. This memory kit uses DDR5 technology to deliver higher bandwidth and improved power efficiency compared with previous-generation modules, providing faster data transfers, reduced latency and better responsiveness for demanding tasks.
DDR5-5600 memory increases data throughput and can transfer up to 50% more data than DDR4 at launch, enabling faster load times, file transfers and smoother multitasking. Each module implements two independent 32-bit channels and on-die ECC for stable performance under sustained loads. On-module voltage regulation (PMIC) and a lower operating voltage of 1.1V improve power efficiency and deliver cleaner power to the DIMMs. The kit is built and validated by Micron and carries Crucial engineering and limited lifetime warranty support.
Power off the computer and disconnect it from mains. Open the desktop case and locate the appropriate DDR5-compatible DIMM slots on the motherboard. Align the notch on each module with the slot key and press firmly until the side latches click into place. Install the two modules in the recommended slots to enable dual-channel operation as specified by the motherboard manual. Reassemble the case, reconnect power and boot the system. Verify that the BIOS/UEFI recognizes the full 32 GB and that the memory runs at the intended 5600 MHz speed or the highest supported speed per your motherboard.
Use this Micron DDR5 32GB 5600MHz kit in motherboards that explicitly support DDR5 and the specified speed. For optimal stability, update the motherboard BIOS to the latest version, install modules in matched slot pairs to enable dual-channel mode, and follow the motherboard vendor’s QVL (qualified vendor list) when available.
