Computer case Mikrotik hAP ac lite tower Black
The Computer case Mikrotik hAP ac lite tower Black houses the hAP ac lite networking unit in a compact, convertible enclosure that supports desktop and vertical (tower) placement. The design includes Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities with PoE output on the fifth Ethernet port and a single USB 2.0 port for connecting a 3G/4G modem. The unit operates as a dual-concurrent access point, providing simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi‑Fi coverage and delivering Ethernet LAN data rates of 10 and 100 Mbit/s. The case is finished in black and maintains a low maximum power consumption of 7 W.
The tower-style case provides flexible placement options — it can be positioned horizontally on a desk or vertically as a tower — and includes a wall mounting kit for permanent installation. Its PoE support simplifies installation by allowing power delivery over Ethernet where compatible, while the included USB 2.0 port enables cellular modem connectivity. The compact form factor and efficient power draw make the unit suitable for environments where space and energy consumption are considerations.
Place the unit in the desired orientation — horizontally on a flat surface or vertically as a tower — or install it on a wall using the supplied mounting kit. Connect your ISP or LAN to one of the Ethernet ports and, if needed, connect a device requiring PoE to port #5 to receive power. Insert a compatible 3G/4G USB modem into the USB 2.0 port to configure cellular backup or primary connectivity. Configure wireless settings through the RouterOS interface to enable dual‑band operation, set SSIDs, security modes and other network parameters.
For stable dual‑band performance, position the case with unobstructed airspace around its antennas and avoid placing it inside closed metal cabinets. Use Cat5e or better Ethernet cables for reliable 10/100 Mbps connections and ensure attached PoE devices are compatible with the unit's PoE output. Choose the appropriate regional model to comply with local wireless frequency regulations.
