The MOBILIS 001327 cable lock is a steel security cable designed to secure laptops in open-plan environments and public spaces. It features a twin security lock allowing two devices to be protected simultaneously and is supplied with keys. The cable is 1.8 m long with a 4 mm diameter and is compatible with standard security slots (7 x 3 mm) as well as with the MOBILIS-designed Security Slot (optional accessory). It is also compatible with the MOBILIS Master Key (sold separately) and is rated to resist up to one tonne of pressure.

How to use

Insert the lock head into the laptop's security slot and turn the key to engage the locking mechanism. Loop the steel cable around a fixed, immovable object and secure it by closing the lock. Keep the spare key in a safe place. To unlock, insert the key and turn to release the mechanism before removing the cable from the secured object.

Usage recommendations

For best results, attach the cable to an immovable anchor point and avoid leaving the device unattended for extended periods. Store the spare key separately from the locked device. Use the MOBILIS Master Key only if you have authorized access to that system and check compatibility if your device uses a proprietary security slot.
