Power extension cord MONTIS MT117B-2 — plug to socket, 2 m, black

MONTIS MT117B-2 is a 2 m power extension cord in black that connects a mains plug to a single socket. The cable offers a simple, direct wired connection designed for everyday home and office use where additional distance from the fixed socket is required.

Advantages

The extension cord features a compact, space-saving single-socket design and a 2 metre length that balances reach and cable management. Its black outer sheath provides discreet appearance and resistance to visible dirt, while the straightforward plug-to-socket configuration ensures compatibility with standard mains outlets and common appliances. The product is intended for reliable basic power extension without additional features or electronic components.

Suitable for

• Extending power to floor or table lamps
• Providing additional reach for desktop computers and monitors
• Powering phone and tablet chargers in distant sockets

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Colour: black
• Configuration: plug to single socket
• Intended use: mains power extension for low- to medium-power devices
• Design: compact single-outlet inline socket

How to use

Insert the extension cord plug into a compatible mains outlet and connect the appliance plug into the extension socket. Ensure that the total combined power consumption of connected devices does not exceed the safe load rating of the household circuit and that plugs are fully inserted. Position the cable to avoid tripping hazards and avoid covering the cord with rugs or heavy objects. Unplug the extension if it becomes hot, damaged, or shows visible wear, and do not use it in damp or wet locations unless explicitly rated for such conditions.

Usage recommendations

Use the extension cord for single-device or light multi-device setups and avoid connecting high-power appliances such as space heaters, large kettles or ovens. For permanent or heavy-load installations, choose a product rated for the specific power requirements and consider surge protection or professional wiring solutions.
