Moza Racing R21 Ultra is a direct-drive racing wheel base constructed from CNC-machined aluminium in a black finish, with compact dimensions of 140 × 248.8 × 135 mm. Engineered for sim racing and training rigs, the R21 Ultra pairs a zero-cogging flat-wire motor and a 21-bit magnetic encoder to deliver high-resolution steering input and sustained force feedback. The base supports multiple mounting positions and offers integrated ports for MOZA peripherals, making it a central component for realistic, low-latency wheel control in desktop and cockpit setups.
The R21 Ultra provides sustained 21 Nm torque output through an industrial-grade motor designed for thermal efficiency and long sessions without throttling. A high-resolution 21-bit magnetic encoder captures precise steering movements with over two million distinct positions, while MOZA’s advanced force feedback algorithm and intelligent thermal management maintain consistent performance. The aluminium unibody housing and robust slip ring construction provide structural rigidity and long-term durability, and dual RGB light strips enable configurable visual telemetry feedback.
Mount the R21 Ultra to your chosen rig using the supported bottom, front, or side mounting positions and attach a compatible steering wheel to the motor spline. Connect pedals, shifters, and other MOZA peripherals to the dedicated ports to minimize external hubs. Power the unit, install any required MOZA drivers or the cloud-based configuration app, and calibrate wheel centring and force feedback parameters. Adjust thermal and torque settings as needed through the software to match session length and driving style.
