Keyboard stand Mozos KSX5 — adjustable X-style support for digital piano and keyboard

Mozos KSX5 is an adjustable X-style keyboard stand designed to support digital pianos and electronic keyboards. It offers a compact folding frame with variable height and width settings so users can position instruments for comfortable playing, whether seated or standing. The stand is intended for home practice, studio use, rehearsals and live setups where portability and a straightforward adjustment mechanism are priorities.

Advantages

The X-style construction provides stable two-point support and a small footprint when folded for transport or storage. Height and width adjustability allow the stand to accommodate a range of keyboard sizes and player preferences. The metal frame combines rigidity with relatively low weight, making the KSX5 convenient to move between practice spaces and gigs. Rubber end caps on contact points help protect instrument finishes and improve grip on smooth surfaces.

Suitable for

• Home practice with compact digital pianos and portable keyboards
• Studio setups where space-saving support is required
• Rehearsals and small live performances with quick setup and teardown
• Musicians who need adjustable height and width for ergonomic positioning

When it may not be suitable

The KSX5 is not designed for very heavy or extended concert grand-style keyboards that require more rigid multilevel support. For professional stage rigs requiring integrated shelving, pedal mounts or extremely high load capacity, a heavier-duty or purpose-built stand may be preferable.

Key specifications

• Type: Adjustable X-style keyboard stand
• Material: Metal frame with protective rubber end caps
• Adjustability: Variable height and width settings
• Portability: Foldable design for transport and storage
• Intended use: Supports digital pianos and electronic keyboards for practice, studio, rehearsal and small live performance

How to use

Unfold the X-frame and set the legs to the desired width and height using the adjustment points provided. Place the keyboard centrally on the top braces and ensure the rubber end caps make full contact with the instrument underside to prevent slipping. Check that locking mechanisms are secure before applying weight and test stability by gently pressing on the keyboard. When finished, remove the instrument, collapse the stand and carry or store it in its folded position.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm the stand’s adjustable width and height range suits your keyboard’s dimensions and preferred playing position
• Verify the stand’s load capacity against the weight of your instrument
• Consider whether additional features such as double-braced arms, integrated shelves or pedal mounts are required for your use case

Usage recommendations

Use on a level surface and avoid overextending adjustment points. For instruments with delicate finishes, place a thin protective layer between the rubber caps and the keyboard base if necessary. Periodically inspect fasteners and contact surfaces for wear and tighten adjustment knobs to maintain stable positioning.
