Wall clock muse KIENZLE 15362 — DCF radio-controlled clock with room temperature display, anthracite

The Muse KIENZLE 15362 is a DCF radio-controlled wall clock in an anthracite finish with an integrated room temperature display. It automatically synchronizes to DCF77 time signals for precise timekeeping and adjusts for daylight saving time without manual intervention. The clear analogue dial combined with a temperature readout offers simultaneous time and ambient temperature information suitable for a variety of indoor spaces.

Advantages

This wall clock provides automatic time setting and reliable time maintenance through DCF radio synchronization, reducing the need for manual adjustments. The anthracite casing offers a neutral, durable appearance that fits modern interiors. The integrated room temperature display gives an immediate view of ambient conditions alongside the clock face, and the device is designed for easy wall mounting and low-maintenance operation.

Suitable for

• Home living rooms, kitchens and bedrooms where automatic time setting is preferred
• Offices and meeting rooms requiring accurate, maintenance-free timekeeping
• Reception areas, classrooms and public spaces that benefit from visible temperature information

When it may not be suitable

The clock depends on reception of the DCF77 radio signal to perform automatic synchronization; in locations with poor or no DCF reception the automatic time update may not function and manual setting could be required. The integrated temperature display measures ambient room temperature and is not intended for precise scientific measurements or outdoor temperature monitoring.

Key specifications

• Movement type: radio-controlled (DCF) for automatic time synchronization
• Display: analogue clock face with integrated digital room temperature readout
• Finish: anthracite housing suitable for neutral interiors
• Mounting: wall-mounted design
• Power: battery-operated (batteries required for operation)

How to use

Install batteries in the clock compartment and hang the unit on a suitable wall hook or screw using the rear mounting slot. Place the clock where DCF77 reception is likely (away from dense metal structures and strong electrical interference) to allow automatic signal acquisition. The clock will search for the DCF signal and set the time automatically; the temperature display will show ambient room temperature shortly after power is applied. Adjust the position if reception is weak or if a more accurate ambient reading is needed.

What to consider before purchase

• Availability of DCF77 radio reception at the intended installation location
• Requirement for battery power and periodic battery replacement
• Indoor use only — temperature display is for ambient indoor monitoring
• Size and style compatibility with the intended room décor

Usage recommendations

For best time synchronization, mount the clock on an interior wall away from large metal cabinets or strong electronic devices. Replace batteries annually or when the timekeeping or temperature display becomes unstable. For consistent temperature readings, avoid placing the clock in direct sunlight, near heating sources, or close to drafty windows.
