For Matter + Thread connectivity a Matter-compatible hub that acts as a Thread border router (for example Apple HomePod mini, Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen, or Amazon Echo 4th Gen) and a device running iOS/tvOS 16.5+ or Android 8.1+ are required. For standalone control with the Nanoleaf App, Bluetooth is sufficient.
