Baking Tray NAVA VILDE 43 x 29 x 2 cm Granite Coating Carbon Steel

NAVA VILDE 43 x 29 x 2 cm baking tray is made of carbon steel and finished with a granite non-stick coating. Designed for oven use, the tray provides even heat distribution across its flat base and shallow sides, making it suitable for a wide range of baking and roasting tasks. The granite surface reduces food adhesion and facilitates cleaning while the steel construction ensures dimensional stability during normal oven temperatures.

Advantages

The combination of carbon steel and a granite non-stick coating delivers reliable thermal conduction and a release surface that limits sticking of cookies, pastries and roasted vegetables. The shallow 2 cm rim makes it easy to slide baked goods on and off the tray and to check doneness. The coating simplifies hand cleaning and reduces the need for excessive greasing, while the metal body resists warping under usual household oven conditions.

Suitable for

• Baking cookies, biscuits and sheet cookies
• Roasting vegetables and small cuts of meat
• Preparing sheet-pan meals and oven-to-table dishes
• Toasting nuts or baking flat pastries and crackers

When it may not be suitable

The tray is intended for conventional oven use and is not suitable for open flame or induction cooktop use. The granite coating improves release but is not completely scratch-proof — metal utensils and abrasive cleaners can damage the surface over time. It is not designed for high-temperature professional ovens above typical domestic limits; prolonged exposure to excessive heat may shorten coating life.

Key specifications

• Material: carbon steel body with granite non-stick coating
• External dimensions: 43 x 29 x 2 cm (length x width x rim height)
• Intended use: oven baking and roasting
• Surface: non-stick granite-style coating for reduced food adhesion
• Design: shallow rim for easy loading and removal of baked items

How to use

Place the baking tray on a middle oven rack for even heat exposure. Preheat the oven to the recipe temperature before inserting the tray. Light greasing or a liner (parchment paper or silicone mat) can be used when required by the recipe to extend coating life and improve release. After use, allow the tray to cool before washing; clean with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Avoid metal scouring pads and aggressive detergents to preserve the granite coating.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm the tray dimensions fit your oven interior and available racks
• Decide whether a shallow rim is suitable for the types of dishes you plan to cook
• Be prepared to use non-metal utensils and non-abrasive cleaning methods to protect the coating

Usage recommendations

For best results preheat the oven fully and use parchment paper for sticky batters or sugary bakes. Avoid metal scrapers and high abrasive cleaners; hand wash with a soft sponge to maintain the granite coating. Use the tray for flat bakes, roasting vegetables and reheating items to make the most of its even heat distribution and non-stick surface.
