Rope, braided polypropylene, Ø16 mm, 60 m — NEO Tools
NEO Tools braided polypropylene rope, 16 mm in diameter and 60 m in length, is a general-purpose synthetic rope designed for everyday outdoor and utility tasks. Constructed from polypropylene fibres in a braided lay, it offers flexibility and resistance to moisture while remaining lightweight. This rope is suitable for securing loads, outdoor activities such as camping and boating, and other non-life‑safety applications where rot resistance and easy handling are required.
The braided polypropylene construction provides a balance of flexibility and strength while keeping the rope lightweight and resistant to water absorption. Its braided lay reduces kinking and offers smoother handling compared with twisted ropes. The synthetic fibres resist rot and mildew, making the rope suitable for repeated outdoor exposure. The 16 mm diameter gives a comfortable grip and is compatible with common cleats, pulleys and tie-down hardware used in camping and boating.
Inspect the rope before each use for signs of abrasion, cuts or severe wear. Use appropriate knots for the task—such as bowline, clove hitch or figure-eight variations—based on compatibility with cleats or fastening hardware. Avoid subjecting the rope to sharp edges or excessive heat; protect it with chafe guards or sleeves where it passes over abrasive surfaces. Store the rope coiled and dry, away from direct sunlight and chemical exposure to preserve its properties.
Not intended for life‑safety, climbing, or rescue applications. For critical loads or human suspension, use certified lifesaving equipment designed for those purposes. When using for mooring or securing loads, periodically recheck knots and tension, and replace the rope if damage or significant wear is detected.
