Power distribution unit NETRACK 10" 1U, 230V 16A, 4×E, aluminum
Rack-mount power distribution unit NETRACK 10" 1U in an aluminum housing provides mains power distribution for 10-inch 1U server and network cabinets. Rated for 230 V and 16 A, the unit includes four Type E (Schuko) outlets arranged to feed switches, routers, small servers and other 230 V devices. The compact 1U form factor and aluminum construction are intended for tidy rack installation where space efficiency and robust build are required.
The aluminum casing offers lightweight durability and improved heat dissipation compared with plastic enclosures. A 1U height and 10" width allow installation in smaller racks or network enclosures, maximising usable cabinet space. Four E-type outlets deliver straightforward power distribution to multiple devices without additional adapters. The unit’s 230 V / 16 A rating supports common European mains supplies and basic overload handling suitable for modest rack loads.
Mount the PDU in a compatible 10" 1U rack space using appropriate rack screws and brackets. Connect the unit to a properly rated 230 V mains supply using a suitable mains lead and ensure the supply is protected by an upstream circuit breaker. Plug equipment into the Type E outlets, observing the total current draw so it does not exceed the 16 A rating. Position cables to avoid strain on outlet connections and follow local electrical safety rules during installation and operation.
For reliable operation, distribute high-current loads across different outlets and avoid placing all heavy-draw devices on the same PDU. Verify the combined power consumption of connected devices remains within the 16 A limit and use upstream overcurrent protection. Regularly inspect the housing and outlet connections for signs of wear or overheating and ensure adequate ventilation around the rack.
