The Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Red is a wireless gamepad for the Nintendo Switch that can be used attached to the console in handheld mode, attached together on the Joy-Con grip, or used independently in each hand. Each Joy-Con includes a full set of buttons, an accelerometer and gyroscope for motion control, HD Rumble for realistic vibration feedback, and an IR Motion Camera (right Joy-Con) to detect shape, movement and distance. The right Joy-Con also features an NFC touchpoint for amiibo support. Bluetooth connectivity allows up to eight controllers to connect to a single console.
