Zamberlan Trekking boots in Dark Brown, Size 42, are high-cut men's outdoor boots designed specifically for adult users tackling steep paths and carrying heavy loads. Crafted with a Nubuck leather upper featuring Hydrobloc treatment for water repellence, these boots combine durability with weather protection. They incorporate a waterproof GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining to keep feet dry while maintaining breathability. The footwear features a robust Zamberlan Vibram Star Trek outsole with a cushioned heel and a TPU insert for stability, complemented by a supportive midsole comprising a low-density PU wedge, EVA, and TPU inserts, alongside an asymmetrical rubber rand for added protection and a soft junction at the heel for enhanced walking flexibility.

Advantages

The boots offer exceptional water resistance and breathability through the GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining and Hydrobloc treated Nubuck leather upper, ensuring reliable protection in wet conditions. The Zamberlan Vibram Star Trek outsole delivers superior grip and traction on rugged terrain, supported by a specialized midsole with EVA and TPU inserts that absorb shock and maintain stability under heavy loads. Designed for long-lasting comfort, the inclusion of a soft junction at the heel improves flexibility during movement, while the asymmetrical rubber rand shields the foot from impacts against rocks and debris.

Suitable for

• Hiking and backpacking on rugged terrain
• Long-distance trekking with heavy loads
• Outdoor adventures in wet or changeable weather conditions
• Navigating steep and uneven mountain paths

When it may not be suitable

These boots may not be ideal for flat, urban walking or casual daily use due to their stiff, supportive structure and high-cut design, which are specifically optimized for mountain terrain and heavy-duty trekking. They might also feel overly warm for lightweight summer hiking in hot climates.

Regularly treat the leather with suitable waterproof conditioning products to maintain the Hydrobloc performance.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that size 42 matches your standard footwear and sock thickness requirements
• Assess your typical hiking environment to ensure high-cut, heavy-duty boots align with your needs
• Consider the 1.64 kg weight if you prefer lightweight footwear for fast-paced hiking

Usage recommendations: To maintain the longevity and performance of your Zamberlan trekking boots, store them in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area after each use. Avoid exposing them to artificial heat sources such as radiators or direct sunlight for drying, as this can damage the leather and the GORE-TEX membrane. Periodically check the outsole and midsole for wear and ensure the leather is treated with appropriate care products to preserve water repellency.
