How to use

Clean the male thread surface from dirt, oil and old sealant, then start wrapping the tape at the first full thread, overlapping each turn by about half the tape width. Apply the tape in the direction of the thread so it does not unwind when the fitting is tightened. Use 3–6 turns depending on thread size and condition; cut the tape and press the end against the thread to ensure adhesion before assembling the joint. Tighten fittings to the required torque and check for leaks according to standard procedures.

Usage recommendations

Use this PTFE tape only on metal threaded gas fittings. Do not use PTFE tape on oxygen systems or where manufacturer instructions prohibit tape use.
