Brabantia Linn Steam Board
The Brabantia Linn Steam Board is a dedicated steam ironing board designed to be used with a steam iron and to attach to the Linn Clothes Rack. Finished in black, the steam board provides a firm, shaped surface that enables vertical steaming and allows you to apply light pressure for improved wrinkle removal. It is supplied as a single unit and is intended to upgrade the Linn Clothes Rack into a multifunctional furniture piece for drying, airing and steaming garments.
The steam board converts vertical steaming into a more effective and space-saving alternative to traditional horizontal ironing by offering a solid surface to press against. Its shoulder-shaped design supports collars and shoulders for targeted steaming, while an extra loop enables convenient use with a clothes hanger. Height adjustability and Velcro mounting straps make installation and ergonomic positioning straightforward. The board’s black finish and compact form factor integrate with existing Linn Clothes Racks without occupying additional floor space.
Attach the Brabantia Linn Steam Board to a compatible Linn Clothes Rack using the supplied Velcro straps and adjust the board to the height that feels most comfortable for you. Hang the garment on the extra loop or on a hanger, position the area to be steamed against the shoulder-shaped surface and apply a steam iron according to the iron manufacturer’s instructions. Use light, even pressure where appropriate to help the steam penetrate fibres and smooth creases. Always follow safety guidance for your steam iron and ensure the rack and board are securely fixed before use.
For best results, use the Brabantia Linn Steam Board in combination with a steam iron that offers continuous steam flow and adjustable temperature. Steam garments in sections, and allow fabrics to cool briefly on the board before removing to set the shape.
