The Ken Hom KH331001 frying pan Wok/Stir-Fry pan Round is a 31 cm wok designed for everyday stir-fry cooking. Its round shape with a flat bottom provides stable contact with most hobs — gas, electric and ceramic — while the lightweight carbon steel construction offers responsive heat conduction for quick, even cooking. The wok features a non-stick coating applied inside and out, a long wooden handle fixed with two rivets, a large hanging loop and a clear lacquer finish for easier cleaning and handling. This wok is sized to prepare meals for approximately 3–4 people and is not suitable for induction hobs.
The flat-bottom design ensures stable placement on standard hob rings and promotes even heat distribution across the cooking surface. A non-stick coating on both interior and exterior surfaces reduces food adhesion and simplifies cleaning. The 1.4 mm carbon steel body provides good heat conduction and rapid temperature response for high-heat stir-frying. The long wooden handle offers balance and comfort when lifting or tossing ingredients, and the handle is secured with two rivets for durability. A large metal loop at the end of the handle makes hanging storage convenient.
Place the wok centrally on an appropriate hob ring and add a small amount of cooking oil. Heat gently until the oil is hot but avoid excessive temperatures that could damage the non-stick coating. Add ingredients and keep them moving by stirring or tossing so food cooks quickly and evenly. The non-stick surface allows cooking at moderate high heat without requiring full power on the hob. After use, allow the wok to cool slightly before cleaning to preserve the coating and the wooden handle.
Use wooden, silicone or nylon utensils to avoid scratching the non-stick surface. To maintain the finish and help prevent rust if the coating becomes damaged, occasionally apply a thin layer of cooking oil to the inner surface. Clean by hand with hot water and mild detergent when necessary, avoid abrasive scouring pads, and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Store by hanging from the handle loop or placing in a dry cupboard. Note that wok finish may vary.
