The RÖSLE 13212 frying pan All-purpose pan Round is a 28 cm stainless steel pan designed for everyday cooking. It combines a stainless steel exterior with a heat-conductive aluminium core in the encapsulated base to deliver quick, even heating and good heat retention. The pan measures 28 cm in diameter, has a height of 64 mm and weighs 1.3 kg. Its black interior surface is suitable for preparing eggs, pancakes, fish fillets, meat and vegetables while using minimal fat. The pan is made for use on ceramic, electric, gas and induction cookers and may also be used in the oven according to heat-resistance limits.
The encapsulated stainless steel base with an aluminium core ensures uniform heat distribution and retention across the 28 cm cooking surface. The cooking surface is suitable for low-fat cooking and for foods that tend to stick, such as pancakes and fish, while remaining neutral in taste and smell. The ergonomic stainless steel handle provides a secure grip; note that the metal handle conducts heat. The pan is dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning and is PFOA free. Thermal resistance up to 260 °C supports oven use within that limit.
Before first use, wash the pan in warm water with mild detergent and dry thoroughly. Use the pan on a cooktop that matches the pan diameter to the hotplate for efficient energy use. Always place food or a small amount of fat in the pan before heating to protect the cooking surface. When using a gas stove, make sure the flame does not extend beyond the pan bottom to avoid unnecessary heating of the handle. The metal handle becomes hot during cooking — use an oven glove or cloth when gripping.
To prolong the life of the cooking surface, avoid using sharp or pointed metal utensils that could scratch the interior and do not heat the empty pan. Match pan diameter to the burner size for efficient cooking and reduced energy consumption.
