The Noctua NF-A9 PWM is a 92 mm high-performance case fan engineered for quiet, efficient cooling. It uses Noctua’s Advanced Acoustic Optimisation (AAO) frame and aerodynamic features such as Flow Acceleration Channels and a Stepped Inlet Design to improve airflow, static pressure and noise characteristics compared with earlier designs. The PWM model includes Noctua’s custom NE-FD1 PWM IC for automatic speed control via 4-pin headers and is supplied with a Low-Noise Adaptor that limits maximum speed from 2000 to 1550 rpm. The fan’s SSO2 bearing, refined impeller geometry and integrated anti-vibration pads contribute to smooth operation and long-term reliability.

How to use

Mount the NF-A9 PWM using standard screws or compatible mounting systems; the integrated anti-vibration pads maintain compatibility with typical screw mounts. Connect the primary 20 cm sleeved cable to a 4-pin PWM fan header on the motherboard for automatic speed control, or use the supplied 30 cm extension if additional reach is needed.
