Sealed Lead-Acid Battery NORDMARK NMB12-7 12V 7Ah for UPS and backup power
Sealed Lead-Acid Battery NORDMARK NMB12-7 12V 7Ah for UPS and backup power
NORDMARK NMB12-7 is a sealed lead-acid (SLA) rechargeable battery with a nominal voltage of 12V and a capacity of 7Ah. It is intended for stationary and portable backup power where a compact, maintenance-free energy source is required. The battery features a leak-resistant, valve-regulated design that reduces maintenance needs and simplifies installation in UPS units, emergency lighting, alarm systems and other small power backup applications.
The sealed construction prevents electrolyte leakage and allows installation in various orientations without special ventilation. A valve-regulated design controls internal pressure and extends service life under normal charging conditions. Compact dimensions and standardized terminal layout enable straightforward replacement of similar 12V 7Ah batteries in UPS modules and emergency power devices. Maintenance-free operation eliminates the need for periodic topping-up or handling of liquid electrolyte.
Install the NORDMARK NMB12-7 in the UPS or backup device following the device manufacturer's instructions. Verify correct polarity before connecting to avoid damage. For standby/float use, set the charger or UPS float voltage to the manufacturer's recommended value for sealed lead-acid batteries. For cyclic use, follow recommended charge and discharge profiles to optimize capacity and lifetime. Ensure terminals are clean and connections are secure; avoid short circuits and mechanical damage during installation and handling.
Store and operate the battery within the temperature range advised by the equipment manufacturer. Keep the battery charged during storage to prevent deep discharge. Replace batteries in matched sets when used in series to maintain balanced performance. Dispose of the battery according to local regulations for lead-acid batteries and recycling facilities.
