The Nous NOUS-A7Z is a compact smart socket rated for up to 16A (3680W) that measures real-time power and energy consumption. Designed for integration with TUYA cloud and MQTT systems, it requires a ZigBee gateway E1 and the NOUS Smart Home app for full remote control and scheduling. The device is made of PC/ABS (V0), is certified CE and RoHS, and supports voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
The smart socket provides accurate energy monitoring and real-time power readings while keeping standby power low (0.5W). Its small dimensions (50×56×83 mm) and IP20 protection level make it suitable for indoor home use. With ZigBee 3.0 (IEEE802.15.4) communication and compatibility with TUYA and MQTT integrations, the socket enables automation, remote switching, and scheduling of connected appliances. Certified for safety and backed by a 24-month warranty, it supports a wide operating voltage range (110–230V, 50/60Hz).
Install the smart socket into a standard indoor outlet and connect the ZigBee gateway E1 to your network. Add the device in the NOUS Smart Home app (requires iOS 8 or Android 4.4 and higher) and follow in-app pairing instructions to link via ZigBee 3.0. Once connected, you can remotely switch the socket, set schedules, monitor real-time power and cumulative energy consumption, or integrate it with TUYA cloud or an MQTT broker for advanced automations.
Use indoors only within the specified operating temperature and voltage ranges. Do not exceed the rated load (16A peak / 15A continuous). For reliable remote control and energy reporting, ensure the ZigBee gateway E1 is within range and the mobile device meets the app requirements. Keep the socket away from water and install in dry locations consistent with IP20 protection.
