The NRGkick Smart Attachment 32A 3Pole is a socket adapter for the NRGkick charging unit that enables connection to Type 32A 3-pole sockets and supports a maximum charging power of up to 7.4 kW. It is compatible with the NRGkick patented high-level safety connector system and includes an additional LED indicator on the Connector Unit to show device status.

Advantages

The adapter provides temperature monitoring on each individual phase pin and dual monitoring for domestic socket pins to prevent overheating. It detects incorrectly wired sockets and stops charging if a wiring fault is found, and its automatic hot-unplug detection prevents arcing by interrupting current flow before contacts separate. Smart Attachment recognition by the NRGkick ensures the charging current never exceeds the adapter’s approved maximum, while the tactile design secures the connection and allows easy handling.

How to use

Attach the Smart Attachment to the NRGkick Connector Unit until it engages securely, then plug the adapter into a compatible 32A 3-pole socket. The NRGkick will automatically recognise the Smart Attachment and regulate charging current according to the adapter’s rating and applicable national limits. Monitor the Connector Unit LED for status and fault indications; if the unit signals a problem, stop charging and inspect the socket or installation before resuming.

Use only properly installed and rated sockets. If the Connector Unit indicates overheating, incorrect wiring, or another fault, discontinue use and have the socket checked by a qualified electrician.
