The NRGkick smart attachment 16A 5pole is a red socket adapter for the NRGkick charging unit that enables connection to three-phase 16A sockets (max. 16A / 11 kW). It consists of a connector unit and the smart attachment and is intended for safe vehicle battery charging with a 16 A fuse and reliable power delivery when paired with compatible NRGkick charging devices.

Advantages

The smart attachment continuously measures temperature on each individual phase pin and communicates this data to the NRGkick unit, allowing the charger to reduce current automatically if a socket overheats. The connector system prevents arcing by interrupting current flow before contacts separate. All contact elements are silver-plated to maintain reliable contact performance after many mating cycles. The attachment is identified automatically by the NRGkick unit so the charger enforces the correct current limit for the fitted adapter.
