NRGkick wall socket 32A with proprietary interface provides a permanently installed connection point for NRGkick charging units. Rated for a maximum of 32 A/22 kW, the socket serves as an interface to the NRGkick charging unit and is supplied as a single wall-mounted socket designed for building installations where freely accessible CEE sockets are not desired.

Advantages

The NRGkick wall socket uses a proprietary connection interface to prevent unintended devices from being plugged in. It offers smooth connection and disconnection thanks to high-quality contact materials, integrated temperature monitoring on each phase pin, and automatic overheating protection that lets the charging unit independently regulate current if the socket becomes too hot. The design also prevents arcing by interrupting current flow before contacts separate and detects wrongly wired sockets to stop unsafe charging. An additional LED on the Connector Unit communicates status information, and the connector provides secure engagement with easy unplugging when needed. The socket is automatically recognised by the NRGkick charging unit so charging current never exceeds the socket’s approved value.
