NRGkick smart attachment 16A 5pole is a three-phase 16A adapter for the NRGkick charging unit, enabling connection to three-phase 16A sockets with a maximum output of 16A (11 kW). The attachment converts the normally permanently wired NRGkick KfW charging unit into a plug-in solution compatible with the specified sockets while keeping built-in safety functions active.

Advantages

The smart attachment monitors the temperature of each individual phase pin, allowing NRGkick to detect excessive heating from poor socket installation and automatically reduce charging current to maintain safe operation. The connector system prevents arcing by interrupting current flow before contacts separate. Contact elements are silver-coated for long-term reliable conductivity and durability through many mating cycles. The attachment is automatically recognised by the NRGkick unit, which enforces the correct maximum current for the selected adapter.
