The NRGkick Power cable 20001005 with type E+F plug and Smart Attachment provides integrated safety features for electric vehicle charging. The cable's Smart Attachment monitors temperature on each phase pin, with dual temperature monitoring on the domestic socket pins, allowing the system to reduce charging current automatically if overheating is detected. The Smart Attachment also prevents arcing when unplugged during charging by interrupting current flow before the contacts separate and detects incorrectly wired sockets, signalling faults via LEDs on both the charging unit and the Connector Unit. The plug engages securely while its soft-component surface offers a good grip for removal and replacement of attachments. The NRGkick recognises Smart Attachments automatically to ensure charging current never exceeds the attachment's approved maximum and to comply with applicable national limits.
