Socket adapter NRGkick NRGkick Smart Attachment Set Standard Black Blue Red

The NRGkick Smart Attachment Set Standard is a set of intelligent socket adapters for use with the NRGkick charging unit. It contains three Smart Attachments that allow connection to common European sockets: a 16A 5‑pole adapter (max. 16A / 11 kW), a 16A 3‑pole adapter (max. 16A / 3.7 kW) and an E+F “Schuko” 13A adapter (max. 13A). The adapters are compatible with the patented high-level safety connector system of the NRGkick and are available in black, blue and red.

Advantages

The Smart Attachments include per‑phase temperature monitoring and dual‑pin monitoring on the domestic socket adapter to detect overheating and enable the NRGkick to automatically regulate charging current. The patented connector system prevents arcing by interrupting current flow before contacts separate, and the unit detects incorrectly wired sockets to block charging and alert the user by LED. An additional LED on the Connector Unit shows the adapter and charging status. The plug surface and secure engagement provide reliable handling and easy replacement when needed. The NRGkick recognises each Smart Attachment automatically and restricts charging current to the adapter’s approved maximum while respecting applicable national limits.

How to use

Attach the appropriate Smart Attachment to the NRGkick Connector Unit and connect the adapter to the matching socket type. The NRGkick will automatically recognise the attached adapter and limit charging current to the adapter’s approved maximum. Monitor the Connector Unit LED indicators for status and warnings; if an overheating or wiring fault is detected, charging will be regulated or prevented automatically. Replace attachments by gripping the soft‑component surface and disengaging the secure locking mechanism.

Usage recommendations

Use the Smart Attachment that matches the socket type and observe local electrical regulations. Check socket integrity before use; if the Connector Unit indicates a fault or overheating, stop charging and have the socket inspected by a qualified electrician.
