The Nvidia MCA4J80-N003-FTF is a 3 m InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with OSFP connectors on both ends. It provides up to 800 Gbit/s aggregate throughput and is built with a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket in black, offering a compact, high-speed link for data centers and high-performance computing environments.
This OSFP to OSFP cable supports very high bandwidth up to 800 Gbit/s and is suitable for short-reach, high-density interconnects. The LSZH jacket reduces toxic smoke in case of fire and the 3 m length allows flexibility in rack or chassis layout. Its design focuses on reliable, low-latency data transmission between switches, servers or adapters that accept OSFP ports.
This cable is intended for systems with OSFP ports and for short-reach connections; it is not suitable for long-distance runs or environments that require multimode copper or different connector types. It will not work with equipment that lacks OSFP-compatible interfaces or requires passive copper only if the platform does not support the active optical characteristics.
Install the cable by aligning and inserting each OSFP connector into the corresponding OSFP port on your network adapter, switch or server until it clicks into place.
