Sunglasses OAKLEY Sphaera Slash — giro grey smoke frame with Prizm Road lens

OAKLEY Sphaera Slash cycling sunglasses in giro grey smoke frame with Prizm Road lens combine a wraparound frame and a full-coverage single lens to support road cyclists who need wide, unobstructed vision and protection from wind and debris. The Prizm Road lens is tuned to optimize contrast and color perception on paved surfaces, making it suitable for a range of daylight conditions encountered during training and racing. The frame geometry is designed to sit close to the face for a secure fit while maintaining comfort over long rides.

Advantages

The Prizm Road lens enhances contrast and detail on asphalt, improving visual clarity of road texture, shadows and markings. The wraparound, full-coverage lens design offers extended peripheral vision and effective wind protection without separate side shields. Lightweight frame materials and anatomic temple shaping help sustain comfort and stability during high-intensity efforts and long-distance rides.

Suitable for

• Road cycling and group rides
• Training sessions in varied daylight conditions
• Racing on paved roads
• Commuting and fast recreational rides

Key specifications

• Frame: giro grey smoke color, wraparound geometry for close fit
• Lens: Prizm Road — optimized for contrast and color on paved surfaces
• Coverage: full-coverage single lens for broad field of view and wind protection
• Fit: secure cycling fit with anatomic temples
• Intended use: designed for road cycling in varied daylight

How to use

Place the sunglasses on with temples over the ears and the nose bridge seated comfortably on the nose to ensure the frame follows the contour of your face. Adjust helmet straps and goggle position so the frame does not contact the helmet during movement. Use the sunglasses during rides to reduce wind on the eyes, improve visual contrast on the road and protect from airborne debris. Clean the lens with a soft microfiber cloth and a lens-safe cleaner to avoid scratches.

Usage recommendations

Use the Prizm Road lens primarily for paved-surface cycling in daylight and mixed light conditions. If light level changes substantially (dawn, dusk or heavy overcast), consider switching to a lens with different tint or higher light transmission for optimal visibility. Store the sunglasses in a protective case when not in use and avoid placing the lens down on rough surfaces.
