Scarpa DRAGO LV Climbing Shoes, Size 38, White
The Scarpa DRAGO LV in size 38 is a high-performance climbing shoe engineered for maximum sensitivity and precision. Designed with a low-volume fit, this model caters to climbers who require a snug, adaptive connection to the rock or climbing wall. The construction utilizes a sophisticated blend of microfiber and leather, supported by advanced tensioning systems that maintain the shoe's shape while allowing for exceptional flexibility during complex movements.
The shoe features the innovative PCB-Tension system, which minimizes layers between the foot and the sole to ensure total freedom of movement and superior sensitivity. The integration of the SRT system with M50 rubber provides an unparalleled grip for toe hooks, allowing the foot to spread naturally on any surface. Furthermore, the PAF heel system improves force distribution and reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon, enhancing overall comfort during intense climbing sessions. The use of Vibram XS GRIP 2 rubber ensures reliable adhesion on edges and holds across various temperatures.
Due to its highly specialized, soft, and sensitive design, this shoe may not be the best choice for beginners or those primarily focused on long, multi-pitch traditional climbing where a stiffer, more supportive sole is required for all-day comfort. It is also less suited for crack climbing where the soft construction offers limited protection.
To put on the Scarpa DRAGO LV, loosen the Velcro strap and utilize the internal elastic gusset to slide your foot into the shoe. Adjust the strap to achieve a secure, precise fit that feels like a second skin. Ensure the heel is properly seated to benefit from the PAF system's force distribution. The shoe is designed to be worn tightly to maximize the sensitivity provided by the soft M50 rubber and the thin midsole construction.
Usage recommendations: To maintain the performance of your climbing shoes, avoid walking on abrasive surfaces such as concrete or dirt. We recommend resoling the shoes at an official SCARPA center before the wear reaches the rand to preserve the integrity of the construction and prolong the life of the product.
