Scarpa DRAGO LV Climbing Shoes, White, Size 41.5
The Scarpa DRAGO LV in white is a high-performance climbing shoe engineered for precision and sensitivity, specifically tailored for bouldering and steep terrain. With a low-volume fit, this model provides a secure and adaptive hold for climbers with narrower feet, ensuring maximum control during technical maneuvers. The construction utilizes a sophisticated blend of microfiber and leather, combined with advanced tensioning systems to maintain the shoe's shape while allowing for total freedom of movement.
The shoe features the innovative PCB-Tension system, which minimizes layers between the foot and the sole to enhance sensitivity and grip. The SRT system, utilizing soft M50 rubber, wraps around the forefoot to provide exceptional toe-hooking capabilities. Furthermore, the PAF heel system improves force distribution and reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon, ensuring comfort during intense climbing sessions. The use of Vibram XS GRIP 2 rubber offers superior friction and consistency across various temperatures, making it a reliable choice for demanding routes.
This shoe is designed for high-performance, technical climbing and may not be suitable for beginners who require a stiffer, more supportive shoe for long periods of wear. Due to its soft construction and aggressive downturn, it is less ideal for long multi-pitch routes or crack climbing where foot protection and rigidity are prioritized.
To put on the Scarpa DRAGO LV, utilize the internal elastic gusset to slide your foot into the shoe. Secure the fit by adjusting the Velcro strap through the two-point buckle system to achieve the desired tension. Ensure the heel is properly seated to benefit from the PAF system's force distribution. The shoe is designed to fit snugly, allowing the soft materials to adapt to the shape of your foot for optimal sensitivity.
Usage recommendations: To preserve the performance and longevity of your climbing shoes, we recommend resoling them at an authorized SCARPA service center before the wear reaches the underlying layers. Avoid storing the shoes in direct sunlight or high-heat environments to prevent rubber degradation.
