How to use

To begin using the Hollyland LARK MAX 2 Combo, attach the transmitter with the built-in or external lavalier microphone to the speaker. Connect the appropriate receiver to your recording device—use the camera receiver for DSLR and mirrorless cameras via the audio cable, or plug the USB-C receiver directly into a compatible smartphone or tablet. Power on both units and verify the connection status before starting your recording session to ensure optimal audio levels and signal stability.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the compatibility of the USB-C receiver with your specific mobile devices or tablets
• Assess your primary recording scenarios to ensure a dual-receiver lavalier setup meets your workflow needs
• Consider whether you require additional accessories such as wind muffs for outdoor recording environments

Usage recommendations: For optimal audio quality, ensure the microphone transmitter is placed correctly on the subject's clothing, approximately a hand's width below the chin. When recording outdoors, always attach the provided wind protection to reduce unwanted noise caused by wind or breathing. Periodically check battery levels before commencing long recording sessions to prevent unexpected interruptions.
