OEM BT-269 is a compact Bluetooth 4.1 transmitter and receiver designed to add wireless audio connectivity to non-Bluetooth devices. The unit supports aptX to minimise latency and improve audio clarity and offers both optical (Toslink / S/PDIF) and 3.5 mm AUX connections for flexible integration with TVs, media players, computers, car stereos and other audio sources. The device can operate as a transmitter to stream audio from a source to one or two Bluetooth headphones or speakers, or as a receiver to bring Bluetooth audio into wired speaker systems.

How to use

Select TX (transmit) mode to send audio from a wired source: connect the source to the BT-269 using the 3.5 mm AUX cable or the optical S/PDIF cable, then pair the BT-269 with Bluetooth headphones or speakers. Select RX (receive) mode to accept Bluetooth audio: pair a phone or other Bluetooth source with the BT-269 and connect the device to speakers or an amplifier via AUX or optical output. Use the micro USB port to charge the internal battery; charging takes around two hours.

Usage recommendations

For lowest latency when watching TV or video, use aptX-compatible headphones and connect the BT-269 via optical S/PDIF where available. Keep the transmitter within an unobstructed range of the paired devices for the best signal. Charge the unit before long trips and avoid exposing it to moisture or extreme temperatures.
