How to use

Allow the hotend to reach the appropriate printing temperature for the filament in use before installing the nozzle. Remove the existing nozzle with a suitable wrench while the heater block is heated to avoid damaging threads, then screw in the 0.2 mm nozzle by hand and tighten to the manufacturer-recommended torque. After installation, perform a calibration print and adjust print settings: reduce extrusion multiplier and print speed compared with larger nozzles, and set an appropriate layer height (typically 0.05–0.2 mm) to match the nozzle diameter. Regularly check for clogs and clean the nozzle when switching abrasive filaments to maintain consistent flow.

Usage recommendations

For best results with a 0.2 mm nozzle, reduce print speed and increase retraction as needed to prevent stringing and under-extrusion. Use high-quality, well-dried filament and adjust slicer settings—layer height should be no greater than 75% of the nozzle diameter, and line width should be close to the nozzle size. Avoid abrasive materials unless the nozzle is specifically hardened or plated; consider a hardened orifice for prolonged use with filled or abrasive filaments.
