The OMNIKEY® 5422 is a dual-interface smart card reader that combines contact and contactless technologies in a single USB 2.0 device. Designed for indoor use, the reader connects via a 1.5 m cable and supports 13.56 MHz contactless smart cards as well as virtually any contact smart card. It is compatible with standard PCs, workstations, thin and zero clients and weighs approximately 100 g in a compact grey enclosure.
