The Omnitronic MPZ-350.6P ELA mixer amplifier is a 19" rack-mount unit designed for both mobile and permanent ELA (Emergency Loudspeaker/Distributed) sound reinforcement installations. It provides outputs for 70 V and 100 V transformer lines as well as low-impedance 4–16 Ω speakers, six mixable inputs (up to 3 microphones and 3 line-level devices), a line output for connecting an external device, and an integrated MP3 player with USB and SD card playback and infrared remote control.

Advantages

The MPZ-350.6P combines flexible loudspeaker output options (70 V, 100 V and 4–16 Ω), six mixable inputs and six switchable zone outputs for separate control of speaker groups. The front-panel microphone input features an adjustable priority function with automatic attenuation of other signals and a gong trigger for announcements. A front-panel MP3 player with blue-backlit LCD, USB and SD card slots allows direct playback from storage media.

How to use

Install the unit in a 19" rack or place it on a shelf. Connect speakers to the appropriate output terminals (70 V/100 V for constant-voltage lines or 4–16 Ω for low-impedance speakers) and secure wiring with the clamp terminals. Make signal connections for up to three microphones and three line-level sources to the mixable inputs. Use the front-panel switches to activate individual zones and adjust levels. Load MP3 files onto a USB stick or SD card and use the front-panel controls or included infrared remote to browse and play tracks. Use the microphone priority switch when announcements are required to reduce background audio automatically.
