The XANTO UPS is a premium-class online UPS designed to protect servers, switchgear, controlgear, IT and other sensitive equipment against power failure and data loss. Using double-conversion technology, the unit completely decouples the load from the mains supply to eliminate the effects of voltage fluctuations, surges and harmonic distortion. How to use

Install XANTO either as a freestanding tower or mount it in a rack using the supplied 19" angle. Connect critical equipment to the UPS output sockets and configure switchable sockets for noncritical loads if automatic load shedding is required during battery operation. Use the menu or DataWatch software to set battery deep-discharge protection parameters and monitor UPS status over RS-232 or USB. For networked environments, install the SNMP adapter and DataWatch to enable controlled shutdown, event logging and remote administration. To extend runtime, connect the recommended external battery packs; models 1000 and above accept up to seven additional packs for significantly increased autonomy.
