Cable Gland Onnline PG-16 for cable Ø10–14 mm, IP68 ingress protection
Onnline PG-16 cable gland for cable Ø10–14 mm provides a sealed and strain-relieved entry point for single cables into enclosures and equipment. Designed for applications that require protection against dust and temporary or prolonged immersion, the gland achieves IP68 ingress protection while accommodating cables with outer diameters from 10 to 14 mm. Its compact PG-16 body is suitable for a variety of electrical housings, junction boxes and machinery where a reliable watertight cable entry is needed.
The cable gland combines a durable threaded housing with an elastomeric sealing insert to ensure a tight fit around the cable and maintain IP68 protection under wet conditions. It secures the cable against pull-out and vibration while preventing dust and water ingress. The product is compatible with standard PG-16 cutouts, offers straightforward installation without special tools, and supports both indoor and outdoor use due to its watertight design.
Prepare the enclosure by drilling or verifying a PG-16 compatible cutout. Insert the gland body through the panel or housing hole and secure it by tightening the locknut from inside if applicable. Pass the cable through the gland and position the sealing insert around the cable. Tighten the cap or compression nut until the elastomeric insert compresses and seals around the cable, providing strain relief and IP68 protection. Verify the seal and retighten if necessary following the manufacturer's recommended torque values where available.
Ensure the selected cable diameter falls within the 10–14 mm range to achieve proper sealing. Inspect the gland and sealing insert for damage before installation. For permanent outdoor or submerged installations, periodically check the integrity of the seal and replace the gland if signs of wear or deformation appear.
